#230: Let him only see the thorns who has eyes to see the rose.

...............May one always find the beauty, their very own happiness in life............

This is another piece in the collection "Stray Birds." The pendant is hand poured cement, set on silver, touched with a silver bead and held on a stainless steel wire.

#17: These little thoughts are the rustle of leaves; they have their whisper of joy in my mind.

The above verse from the poem "Stray Birds" reminded me of when I was young, when we would be playing outside, we would gather tiny flowers, leaves, and anything that would catch our eye. Then, we would find pieces of broken glass bottles on the streets. We would dig a hole in the ground, place our findings there, underneath the glass piece, and cover it back up with dirt. Then, would clear away a little dirt on top, to find a small window into our own tiny treasure. These little secrets would always be just ours, our happiness at that moment, our creations.

And so, now these little thoughts evolved here into this jewelry piece.  From me to you, let them now be your very own happiness.
Quoting Ayn Rand: "Every form of happiness is private. Our greatest moments are personal, self- motivated, not to be touched."
They are our secrets :)

These earrings hold a note with part of the above verse written on them, which is held into place with a selected bead.  The note can be taken out and replaced with your own thought, your own little secret ;)
